General Information
Penn State Abington's library has a collection of nearly 60,000 volumes and over 400 electronic databases available to students, faculty, staff, alumni, and other residents of Pennsylvania. In addition, access to nearly five million books, periodicals, and documents within the University Libraries' system are available to members of the Penn State community. (Statistics for the Libraries are updated annually.)
Circulating books in the Penn State Abington library are located on the upper and lower floors. Call numbers A-N are on the upper floor, and P-Z are on the lower floor. All reference books are indicated as such in the CAT and will be located on the main floor of the library between the front computers and the bound periodicals stacks. The Penn State Abington library uses the LC (Library of Congress) classification system.
