    Using Truncation

Truncate a search term using an * (Asterisk) to broaden your search to include all forms of a root word (e.g. river* finds rivers, riverfront.)

TIP: When looking for forms of a commonly used term (e.g., buil*;, which finds built, build, builds, building, buildings) the truncation symbol may retrieve too many irrelevant articles. To retreive a list of more targeted citations, "OR" together the forms of the word you want to use (e.g. building OR buildings)
