Borrowing Library Materials
Items housed in the Architecture & Landscape Architecture Library circulate in accordance to the University Libraries Lending Policies.
Course Reserves
All Course Reserve Lists can be viewed by logging into the Libraries Course Reserves Database. Instructions for placing materials on reserve at our location can be found on the Architecture & Landscape Architecture Library's Course Reserves Page.
Reference Assistance
Reference and information services are available at the Architecture & Landscape Architecture Library any time the library is open (see library hours). We welcome appointments with faculty and students for consultation regarding research, class assignments, and other information needs.
Additionally, patrons may contact us by telephone (814 865-3614) or e-mail with questions for which short answers are expected. In-depth questions require the patron come to the library in person.
Remote Access to Databases
Most of the databases and electronic resources offered by the University Libraries are remotely accessible to current current Penn State students, faculty and staff. Additional information can be found on the Database Access Page.
The University Libraries are committed to providing services to those
who are enrolled in Penn State's World Campus and Distance Education programs.

The University Libraries allows loans and photocopies of most materials owned by the Libraries via interlibrary loan. Persons not affiliated with Penn State who wish to obtain materials owned by the Libraries should contact their closest public or academic library's interlibrary loan department.
Services for Persons with Disabilities
There are several designated accessible parking spaces in the parking lot on the east side of our location in the Stuckeman Family Building. The entrance to this parking lot is from Shortlidge Road, right next to North Halls. The University Libraries provide a variety of special aids, resources, and services for people with disabilities. Photocopiers & Color Scanner
The Architecture & Landscape Architecture Library has one black & white and one color photocopier. Black & white copies are $0.10 for 8.5" by 11", $0.20 for 11" by 17" ($0.08 & $0.16 with LionCash) Color copies are $1.00 ($0.80 with LionCash for both 8.5" by 11" and 11" by 17".
The library also has one computer with an 11" by 17" flatbed scanner. This computer is also equipped with a CD-R/RW burner.
Group Study Room
The Architecture & Landscape Architecture Library has one group study
room available for patrons to use. The room seats ten people and is also
equipped with a vcr & dvd for viewing videos. The room may be reserved for
a maximum of 3 hours each day for group study & viewing videos (individuals
or groups). A sign up sheet is posted outside the room. Reservations will
be held for 15 minutes past the beginning of the reserved time. After 15
minutes the room is forfeited. The room is available for drop-in use when
not reserved.
