Navigating the Libraries
The Pattee and Paterno Libraries building houses several libraries: Arts & Humanities, Business, Education &
Behavioral Sciences, Gateway Commons, Life Sciences, Maps, Microforms & Newspapers, Social Sciences, and
Special Collections.
The Elevation of Pattee and Paterno Libraries
will help you find your way around the library building, or you can take A
Virtual Tour.
Where Can I Find...? will help you
locate computer labs, copiers, and other things in the Pattee and Paterno Libraries.
In addition to the subject libraries housed in Pattee/Paterno, the University Park campus also has several branch libraries (including Architecture, Earth & Mineral Sciences, Engineering, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, and the Pollock Laptop Library), which you can find using this map.
To register as a borrower with the University Libraries, bring your photo ID to any library circulation desk. Only
registered library borrowers may borrow library materials (see the
Lending Code for more information) or access
library databases and electronic resources when connecting from outside the Libraries.
Online resources are available 24-7, but consult the library hours
for access to services and materials in the Libraries.
