Library of Congress Classification

This is an abbreviated guide to the Library of Congress classification schedules for N and TR.
The N class is divided into subclasses by medium, which are broken down into history, country (under/after which individual artists are classified), and subjects.
The numbers listed here are starting points for browsing in the CAT or along the shelves. General works such as periodicals, directories, and dictionaries are not listed here but appear at the beginning of each subclass.
