- Acquire materials in all formats for History, History of Science, and Middle East studies.
- Provide reference assistance focusing on history and the humanities.
- Serve as library liaison to the Department of History. Communicate with history students and faculty on research, collections, and access issues.
- Coordinate reference training and collections for the Arts and Humanities Library. Acquire reference materials in all formats for the Arts and Humanities library.
- Provide general and subject specific library instruction sessions.
- Design web guides for research in history.
