Maps and Atlases

Atlases are collections of maps, usually accompanied by text and centered around a theme.  There are atlases on topics relating to political history, migration, population, economic conditions, etc...   The majority of the maps and atlases can be located in the Maps Library, B-level Paterno.

LOOKING FOR MORE MAPS???  Historical maps on specific topics and regions are listed in the appropriate guides. (Return to list of guides)  More can be identified using the CAT.   Combine your topic and keywords such as  "map", "maps", "atlas', or "historical geography".  If your specific topic does not come up, try using a broader term, for example minorities instead of African-Americans, or Pennsylvania instead of Philadelphia.
