STEPS FOR LOCATING LIBRARY MATERIALS
- Search the CAT for books, videos, maps, CD's etc. in the library
- Use the E-Resource List of databases for articles (especially PROQUEST, or General Science Abstracts)
- Use synonyms and related terms to narrow or broaden your search
- Browse shelves for similar items
- Revise and redo searches as needed
- Consult a librarian for assistance (any service desk, or Eric Novotny, 865-1014, ecn1@psu.edu)
