Finding video's in The CAT
To find videos using The CAT, the library's online catalog:
- use the ADVANCED search page
- change MATERIAL TYPE (below the search boxes) to VIDEO MATERIAL
- optional: type your search term(s) in the KEYWORD search boxes
- optional: use the LANGUAGE search feature (below the search boxes) to find videos in a particular language or subtitled in a particular language.
- optional: search only for DVDs by typing the term DVD in a KEYWORD search box
You can type title words, directors' names, actors' names, or other keywords as search terms.
You can combine search terms by typing them in separate search boxes and linking them with AND (at the far right of the search box).

Locations
The University Libraries have video collections at many library locations, including Media Technology and Support Services (MediaTech). You can request a video from any library location with the I WANT IT button in The CAT:
You can limit your search for videos in a particular library location by changing IN LIBRARY to the desired library. Examples:

| University Park Libraries | for videos held anywhere at University Park campus, including MediaTech |
| Arts & Humanities Library (UP) | for videos in the Music and Media Center of the Arts & Humanities Library, West Pattee 2nd floor |
