New York Times Historical (1851-2003)
Includes a digitized image of every backfile issue of The New York Times from cover to cover, including news stories, editorials, photos, graphics, and advertisements. Searchers can use basic keyword, advanced, guided, and relevancy search techniques to locate information. Or, they can browse through issues page by page, as one would browse a printed edition. Search results lists provide bibliographic information, including date, issue, article headline, page number, and byline (where given). Users may choose to display the full page image of any page in any issue. From 2001 to date the New York Times is available full text from Newspapers--National (ProQuest)
ProQuest National Newspapers (1989-present)
Indexes articles and provides the full text of more than twenty-five national, regional, financial, and ethnic newspapers. Includes the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, and the Los Angeles Times. Coverage: 1989-Present. Full text for most newspapers begins with 1997, but for selected newspapers goes back to 1989. Updated monthly.
