Find books : use The CAT , Penn State 's online catalog at http://cat.libraries.psu.edu/
Find articles in magazines, journals, newspapers: use the E-Resource List (A-Z) menu at http://www.lias.psu.edu:80/alalllib.html , try ProQuest or LexisNexis Academic for broad subject coverage.

Order books from another Penn State campus : when you see the description of the individual book displayed on The CAT screen, check the top of the screen for the I WANT IT button, click that and fill in the requested information. This will not work on a screen that lists several books, you must be at the screen describing an individual book. Or call the library, 610-396-6339.

Some films and videos are not in University Libraries. A huge film collection is available through MediaTech. These films must be booked in advance for classroom use. These films are listed in LIAS CAT and a special film database called MediaNet. Search MediaNet at http://www.medianet.libraries.psu.edu/ There are links in both the CAT and MediaNet to do online booking. If you have problems with ordering any films, contact the library at ext. 6240.
Renew books : click on the My Library Account link thru LIAS ( http://www.lias.psu.edu/ ) and follow links to renew books; LIAS will alert you if not all your books can be renewed; or call the library, 610-396-6339.
Order articles if they are not full text online : Use either a Get It button in a database or Citation Linker to see if an article is already available online or if it is in print at Berks. If not, stay in the Get it or Citation Linker dialog box and use ILLiad to request it. For more information, contact the library at 610-396-6240.
Search Library Databases from home by entering your Penn State ACCESS userid and password when prompted. Look up your userid and password at a CAC Signature Station computer in the library. If you have difficulty, contact the library at 610-396-6339.
