The librarians and staff of the Schreyer Business Library are committed to providing effective information resources and services, especially in terms of reference service, library instruction, and collection development.

If you need a business or economics book not found among the University Libraries' collections, you may request the material through Interlibrary Loan, or recommend it for purchase by completing the Suggestions form.
Reference collection - A selected group of high-demand, non-circulating resources are kept near the reference desk.
General collection - Most circulating business & economics books are in the stacks are on 3rd Floor, Paterno Library.
The University Libraries provide both print and electronic access to certain course materials such as class notes, exams, homework assignments, journal articles, books and book excerpts/chapters.
Faculty needing to place course materials on reserve should contact Reserves.
The best access to library databases is through Unversity Libraries' hyperlinks. These links are scripted through the University Libraries' proxy server to facilitate access for Penn State students, faculty and staff.
Users may access library databases in several ways -

Located in the News & Microforms Library, West Pattee, Ground Floor, Room 14. Older corporation annual reports and SEC filings and back issues of newspapers.
Print copies of journals, magazines, trade publications, newspapers, and some regularly updated statistical sources are found on the current periodical shelves. As issues of these periodicals accumulate throughout the year, they are gathered, bound, and relocated to the stacks on a regular basis. Recent trends show increasing dependence on electronic access with reduced availability of print.
A collection of high-demand videos in VHS and DVD formats are kept in a special section of the reference collection. Videos may be borrowed by special permission from the Business Library reference desk for a period of seven days. Borrowed videos must be returned to the Business Library reference desk for timely check-in. Videos that are turned in at Lending Services may get a late check-in, resulting in fines.
