American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance
This is the Web site of the largest organization of professionals involved in physical education, dance, health, athletics, safety education, recreation, and outdoor recreation.

American Therapeutic Recreation Association
This is the Web site of an association for American therapeutic recreation professionals and students. It is a good source of information on career opportunities in therapeutic recreation. The site even posts recent job openings in the field.

Cruise Lines International Association
A rich source of information on the cruise industry.

International Federation of Park and Recreation Administration (IFPRA)
For more than forty years, IFPRA has promoted the advancement of parks, recreation, and leisure services. It also disseminates information and organizes international meetings and congresses.

National Golf Foundation
This site is an excellent source of data on the business of golf. You can also search for people and businesses in the golf industry.

The National Park Service: ParkNet
This site provides information on the sites managed by the U.S. National Park Service. You can search for information on the park system as a whole or search parks by name, state, or region.

National Parks and Conservation Association
This American association is a nonprofit organization that seeks to protect, preserve, and enhance the national park system. This site lets you explore the parks, find quick facts about the parks, and learn about threats to the parks.

National Ski Areas Association
This trade association's site is a good source of industry statistics. It is also useful for finding information about issues facing the skiing industry, such as proposed government regulations.

PGA.com
This is the official website of the PGA of America. It is a good source of industry information, including the latest news on golf equipment. There is also information on employment opportuneness in golf facilities. Additionally, this is a good source of information on upcoming golf tournaments.

Recreation.gov
This comprehensive site provides information about recreation on all federal lands.

Travel Industry Association of America
An excellent source of fast facts on the travel and tourism industry in the United States, as well as news and trends relating to the industry. Provides links to other sources of travel statistics, legislative news, demographic/economic statistics, technology trends, associations/organizations, and more.

Wilderness Education Association
This association promotes the professionalization of outdoor leadership and trains and certifies outdoor leaders.

World Leisure and Recreation Association
This association promotes research, education, and advocacy in leisure studies, park and recreation management, and tourism studies.

World Tourism Organization
The web site for the international agency that acts as clearinghouse for tourism information.
