Full-Text Journals

History Cooperative, JSTOR, Muse and Periodical Archives Online provide full-text of selected academic journals. Check each database to see the titles they include and the years. The databases above provide links to articles in many of these journals.

 

Finding Newspaper and Magazine Articles

Ethnic NewsWatch Full-text articles from Ethnic and minority newspapers and magazines since around 1990 (some earlier content)

Proquest Articles in all subjects from over 5,000 magazines, journals, and newspapers

America's Newspapers Full-text from a wide range of newspapers, including the Centre Daily Times  

Lexis-Nexis Academic Universe Full-text of national and local newspapers, business publications, magazines, and news and radio transcripts.  

NY Times Historical Digital Archives All the articles back to 1851.

Newspaper Photos (Accunet/AP Photo Archives)

In addition to the databases above, the library has many newspapers on MICROFILM in the News and Microforms Library, Ground Floor of West Pattee. To see which newspapers we have in our collection by region or time period use NewsCAT.
