There's no foolproof recipe for locating primary sources, but one approach is to search the library's catalog (The CAT) for historical figures as Authors (e.g. Cesar Chavez, Ang Lee). Other terms to try in your CAT search; "documents", "sources", "oral history", "diaries", "personal narratives" or "letters".
Primary Source Databases :
- CQ Historic Collections Online (1970-present)
- Oral History Online (interviews with people from all walks of life)
