United States Collections by Chronological Periods

A chronological list of over 500 microform collections in the Penn State Libraries News and Microforms Library (West Pattee, ground floor). Since some collections, particularly correspondence and diaries, cover many subjects, the collections are listed alphabetically under broad time periods.

For each collection, the following information is given:

• title of the collection
• call number
• title and call number of the guide
• number of microform unit
• description of the collection
• list of subject headings
