LIBRARY INSTRUCTION

AT

PENN STATE DUBOIS

Students can learn how to effectively use the Library in a variety of ways. The DuBois Campus Library encourages faculty to bring their classes into the Library for bibliographic instruction. The Library offers a classroom setting where librarians can work with individual classes in a particular subject area. The Library's lab/classroom offers students the ability to see library databases projected on a 70x70 inch screen where they can observe the newest databases and other library resources to help them in their academic pursuits.

In addition to classroom instruction, librarians are available to help students and faculty in a one-on-one setting. The librarians are available during normal working hours or by special appointments. If you have a question or research need, please stop in the Library and see one of librarians.

If you are a faculty member and would like to bring your class into the Library for a bibliographic session, please contact either Karen Fuller at 375-4754 or Janice Norris at 375-4753. Classes must be scheduled one week in advance and you must provide the librarians with a copy of the specific assignment the class is working on.
