Psychology
The Educational Psychology program at Penn State is divided into two main
areas of concentration: Learning and Instruction and Educational Measurement.
The program confers graduate degrees of Master of Science (M.S.) and Doctor
of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Requirements for the Masters of Science degree differ,
depending on whether the student completes a thesis. The doctoral program
consists of courses in four areas: core courses in Educational Psychology,
methodology courses, elective courses, and research experience.

Psychology
The School Psychology program at Penn State is rooted in both psychology and
education. Graduates from the program are professional school psychologists
who are able to deliver professional psychological services in a Psychological

Measurements Yearbook
Mental Measurements Yearbook, produced by the Buros Institute, contains full
text information about and reviews of all English-language standardized tests
covering educational skills, personality, vocational aptitude, psychology,
and related areas as included in the printed Mental Measurements Yearbooks.
