| Associations Unlimited | Includes nearly 144,000 nonprofit membership organizations worldwide: International and U.S. National, Regional, State and Local.. |
| Children's Literature Comprehensive Database | Information about children's books, videos, and audio books ranging from baby board books to novels and nonfiction for young adults. About 10% include full text book reviews. |
| CQ Researcher (contemporary issues) | Weekly "magazine" that explores in-depth a single "hot issue" currently being discussed in the news, including social issues, education, science, and more. Each issue includes an essay outlining the issue, a pro-con feature, a chronology, and a bibliography. |
| Daily Collegian Index | An index of news articles between 1992-2002 that pertain to Penn State and, to a lesser extent, the surrounding area. National and state news items are indexed only if they relate to PSU. Sports section indexes only articles relating to a larger issue, such as gender equity, medicine, etc. |

| ERIC (Education) | References to materials on all aspects of education - in about 1000 journals [1966-2003], and to 1 million+ ERIC Documents [1966-2004 --full text curriculum guides, reports, conference papers, etc]. |
| Encyclopedia of Social and Behavioral Sciences | The online equivalent of the 24 volume encyclopedia published in 2002. Includes extensive indices, searchable full-text, and embedded electronic reference links. Annual updates are planned for release from 2004. |
| Ethnic News Watch | A comprehensive full text database of the newspapers, magazines and journals of the ethnic, minority and native press. More than 470,000 full-text articles from over 200 publications. Searchable in both English and Spanish, with titles in both languages and more than 100,000 articles in Spanish. |

| MIT CogNet | Provides access to a searchable, full-text library of books, journals, and reference works from the MIT Press, and content and links to resources from other publishers, professional associations, institutions, and individuals. |
