National Education Data Resource Center (NEDRC)
An arm of NCES to serve the education information needs of those who need access to the most current education data collected from major education surveys, and who cannot take advantage of the available NCES computer products or who do not have appropriate facilities to process the available data. Use of NEDRC services is most appropriate for well defined questions that are likely to yield a few tables.

Media in the Lives of 8-18 Year-olds: Generation M
Kaiser Family Foundation survey, Generation M: Media in the Lives of 8-18 Year-olds, examined media use among a nationally (USA) representative sample of more than 2,000 3rd through 12th graders who completed detailed questionnaires, including nearly 700 self-selected participants who also maintained seven-day media diaries. Results found children and teens are spending an increasing amount of time using new media like computers, the Internet and video games, without cutting back on the time they spend with old media like TV, print and music.
