The Architecture and Landscape Architecture Library


The Architecture & Landscape Architecture Library, located at 207 Engineering Unit C, University Park, serves the needs of students and faculty in the areas of architecture, landscape architecture and architectural history (1850 to date), as well as providing support for the Hamer Center for Community Design Assistance, the Center for Studies in Landscape History, the Center for Watershed Stewardship, the Sede de Roma Program, and the art architecture and landscape architecture portions of the Art, Architecture, and Landscape Pictures database. Library collections for other aspects of Architecture are held in the Arts and Humanities Library. Housing a collection of more than 20,000 volumes and approximately 175 periodicals, the Architecture & Landscape Architecture Library also has a specialized video, DVD, and multimedia collection, as well as architectural folios and portfolios.

The Architecture & Landscape Architecture Library is a full circulation point and maintains a Course Reserves collection of books and articles that instructors have placed on reserve for classes in architecture, landscape architecture, and architectural history. Library patrons may also watch videos in the room and utilize the large-format public scanner or the color photocopier. A laptop computer is also available for use in the Library.
