Is your company a parent company or a subsidiary company?

Even research on public companies can be confusing because a large company can be a subsidiary (a company owned or controlled by another company, the parent company). Financial information is filed under the name of the parent company.

Use this sourcs to determine whether a company is private, public, or a subsidiary company. This will also provide basic information such as the company's address, major line(s) of business, names of the company's principal officers, the number of employees, and annual sales.
