We encourage all new employees to schedule time with an I-Tech trainer within the first week of employment to review and receive information on the various Libraries' logins and connection procedures, use of library equipment, and the scheduling of any additional training assistance needed. Research and Development
I-Tech provides leadership in the use and adoption of computer technology applicable to the Libraries by researching new and innovative uses of computers and technology and applying this knowledge and experience to the appropriate units, departments and individuals of the Libraries.
I-Tech plays a major role in project management, collaboration, organization, research, and training for technology projects.
Libraries Life Cycle
All planning, budgeting, testing, and training for libraries life cycle is the responsibility of I-Tech.

Training
Using the latest training techniques, the efficient use of technology is taught by developing new and innovative training programs for Libraries faculty and staff. I-Tech has two trainers responsible for delivering software training that includes most of the Microsoft products, Pop Mail clients, Calendar software, HTML, and basic computing to the Libraries faculty and staff both at University Park and the Commonwealth Colleges. Specialized and departmental training programs are also provided.
