Global ARC: The database contains 147 layers of environmental indicator data covering soils and terrain, distribution of vegetation and animal life on land and in the ocean and limited layers on land use.
Coastal Changes Analysis Columbia River Estuary: C-CAP : changes in land cover in the Columbia River Estuary : 1989-1992 / Coastal Change Analysis Program. This CD-ROM provides an interface to view coastal resource information about the Columbia River Estuary. It integrates satellite-derived land cover data with other map data layers in one file that can be viewed on a desktop computer. Contains all of the source data ready for input into a wide range of image-processing or geographic information systems (GIS) including vector and raster data for use with software such as ArcView.
Coastal Change Analysis Program : changes in land cover in the Yakutat Bay, Alaska Region: 1986-1993 Using self-contained browser technology, CD-ROM provides interface to view coastal resource information about Yakutat Bay Region. It integrates satellite-derived land cover data with other map data layers in 1 file. In addition it contains all of source data ready for input into wide range of image-processing or geographic information systems. Users may interactively view, analyze, and create maps, charts, and reports. It contains an Environmental Systems Reasearch Institute ArcView project file and coverages that allow users to open all vector and raster data layers in ArcView.
Ecological units of the eastern United States: The first approximation contains ArcInfo coverages of state boudaries, National Forests and Grasslands, and ecological boundaries along with ASCII and WordPerfect data files and bilbliographies.
ESI - Atlas of South Carolina: Environemtnal Sensitivity Index contains data about the coastal ecology, fishery resources, marine mammals, water birds, oil spills, shore protection and more.
ESI - Atlas of South Florida, West Peninsula of FL: Environemtnal Sensitivity Index contains data about the coastal ecology, fishery resources, marine mammals, water birds, oil spills, shore protection and more.
ESI atlases : Upper Texas Coast: Contains maps and data from Environmental Sensitivity Index (ESI) developed by the Oil Spill Prevention and Response Division, Texas General Land Office and NOAA, in PDF format. Data characterize coastal environments and wildlife by their sensitivity to spilled oil. It includes information for 3 main components: shoreline habitats, sensitive biological resources, and human-use resources.
LandView II : Maps of EPA sites 1992: LandView II, a geographic reference, displays EPA-regulated sites, demographic and economic information from the 1990 census, and key geographic features of the United States. Disc 11 contains information for the entire U.S. (except for TIGER/Line files). TIGER/Line files are included only for 12 largest MSAs. TIGER/Line 1992, and 1990 Census of population and housing.
LandView III: Environmental Mapping Software: Environmental mapping software (for Windows 3.1, 95 NT, and Macintosh).Contains jurisdictional boundaries; detailed networks of roads, rivers, and railroads; census block group and tract polygons; and schools, hospitals, churches, cemeteries, airports, dams, and other landmark features.

Southern Appalachian Assessment (SAA) : GIS data base: Prepared by the Southern Appalachian Man and the Biosphere Program (SAMAB) contains files on the ecological conditions of the southern Appalachian region. GIS files formats include Arc/Info, ASCII, Microsoft Excel, and Postscript.
