Free Seminars to Focus on Library Research Basics
University Park, PAPenn State University Libraries will hold two fifty-minute seminars in July focusing on the basics of library research. The first will be held on Wednesday, July 11, at 11:10 a.m., and the second on Tuesday, July 24, at 2:20 p.m. Both seminars will be held in the Gateway Instruction Lab, 104 Pattee Library, across from the main circulation desk.
Ideal for students, faculty, and staff interested in learning more about library resources, the seminars will focus on how to access materials including books, journals, and theses; and how to utilize online databases. Both classes will feature time at the end of each session for individualized help and questions.
The seminars are free and open to the public. No registration is required. For more information, call 814-865-9257.
