University Park, PA— Spend a lot of time on Facebook? If so, Facebook users can now search The CAT, the Proquest database, get help from a librarian, and more via the Penn State Libraries’ Facebook application available at: http://apps.facebook.com/psulibrary/>http://apps.facebook.com/psulibrary/ The application was created in collaboration with Education Technology Services and premiered at the Fall 2007 Libraries’ Open House. To date, over 1,300 people have added the app to their profile. The Libraries plan to add more extensive social and collaborative components to the application in the future. Comments and suggestions are welcome—post to the app’s wall or send an email to erimland@psu.edu.
