Nominations Sought for 2002 University Libraries Award

University Park, PA -- Nominations are sought for the 2002 University Libraries Award. The award, which consists of a citation, cash stipend, and a Nittany Lion statue, recognizes the achievement or performance of any person holding an academic, staff, or technical service appointment in the University Libraries. Any member of the Penn State community may make a nomination.

Candidates must meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • Professional contribution that has a significant influence on the operations of the University Libraries.
  • Significant professional contribution that earns the respect of the University community for the University Libraries.
  • Significant contribution to the profession that reflects achievement in librarianship at Penn State.
  • Outstanding contribution to the University Libraries as shown by continuing leadership and innovation.
