Hands-on Psychology Resources Seminar

University Park, PA -- The University Libraries' Education and Behavioral Sciences Library is offering the hands-on seminar "Psychology Resources" on Thursday, March 14, 2002, from 1:00–2:30 p.m., in 302 Paterno Library.

Open to all students, faculty, staff, and the public, this seminar will focus on ERL WebSPIRS, a new Web interface for PsycINFO—the primary database for psychology and related disciplines that offers searchable access to more than 25,000 articles. ERL WebSPIRS provides access to many new full-text journals, including those of the American Psychological Association, and is available through the Fast Track in LIAS (the Library Information Access System).

This class is part of the Subject Seminars series, organized by Libraries' Instructional Programs to teach how to use various databases and access subject-specific reference materials. For a list of other classes in the series, visit www.libraries.psu.edu/crsweb/instruction/ip/subject_sems.htm.

No registration is required for Subject Seminars. For more information about the series, contact Instructional Programs at 814-865-9257. For more on the "Psychology Resources" seminar, contact Steven Herb at slh@psulias.psu.edu or 814-865-2842.
