| e-Portfolio Initiative Helps Students Establish Their Identity
University Park, PA-- "Developing your Penn State e-Portfolio," a public presentation
by Glenn Johnson, project manager for the Penn State e-Portfolio Initiative,
will be held from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m., on Wednesday, September 24, 2003, in the
Foster Auditorium, 101 Pattee Library.
Many students have effectively used e-Portfolios throughout their academic careers as a way to share information about themselves so that faculty, advisors, and others can appreciate who they are and what they can do. Upon completion of a degree program, e-Portfolios are now being used increasingly as a career/job search tool as well.
Penn State's e-Portfolio Initiative is a university-wide initiative that began
in the spring of 2002. The University LibrariesÐ session, sponsored by the
William and Joan Schreyer Business Library, is free and open to the public.
No pre-registration is required.
