Audio Tutorial

How To Capture Audio:

*Turn the Marantz compact disk player CD-46® power supply on and insert a Compact Disc. Press stop or pause to ensure that the CD is not running. Turn the Rotel stereo integrated amplifier RA-930AX® power supply on and turn the source selection knob to CD.

*Adjust the volume knob on the amplifier mid-way between the first and second lines to avoid distortion.

*Locate "REAL PRODUCER PLUS®" on the desktop and click twice. Once the wizard program begins, click the RECORD FROM MEDIA DEVICE button. Click NEXT.

*Ensure that CAPTURE AUDIO is selected. Click NEXT.

*Fill in: Title, Author, Copyright, Description and Keywords. Click NEXT.

*Ensure that MULTI-RATE SURE STREAM for REAL SERVER G2® is checked. Click NEXT.

*This window contains connection types. Check every box except for CORPORATE LAN. Click NEXT.

*This window is labeled AUDIO FORMAT. Ensure that "Music" is checked. Click NEXT.

*The next window allows you to assign a destination for the file. (E:// is ZIP drive) File name extension should end with .rm Click SAVE.

* A review of the selected options now appears. Ensure that all selections are correct.

*Locate the OPTIONS tab and select PREFERENCES. ALLOW DOWNLOADS should not be selected.

*Select the desired CD track on the Marantz player and press pause. Click START on "REAL PRODUCER PLUS®" and press play on the CD player. Click STOP in "REAL PRODUCER PLUS®" when the audio track has finished. Press STOP on the CD player also. A box labeled RECORDED SUCCESSFULLY will appear. Click CLOSE.
