Harrassowitz Leadership in Library Acquisitions Award, 2012
Awarded to a librarian in recognition of outstanding leadership and other contributions in the field of acquisitions.

Leadership Institute for Academic Librarians at Harvard University, 2009
A competitive program that requires an application to attend, this institute addresses issues such as vision, organizational strategy and change, planning, and transformational learning. It was designed to increase leadership and management capacity in the participants.

Penn State IT Leaders Program, class of 2009
The Penn State IT Leaders Program has been designed to enhance the broad set of competencies that Penn State IT leaders need to be successful in the future.

Leadership Centre County, class of 2008
The mission of Leadership Centre County is to increase the community leadership pool by creating a support network for present and future leaders, to encourage increased participation for leadership in civic service, and to educate potential leaders on community issues, opportunities, and needs.

Penn State Leadership Academy, 2007
A 28-hour certificate program for new academic department administrators, this program focuses on visioning, critical thinking, and strategic leadership in the context of Penn state's values and priorities.

ARL Research Library Leadership Fellow, 2004-2006
The program was designed in response to the increasing demands for succession planning at America’s very large research libraries.

Esther J. Piercy Award, 2002
Given by the Association of Library Collections and Technical Services to recognize the “contribution to those areas of librarianship included in library collections and technical services by a librarian with not more than ten years of professional experience who has shown outstanding promise for continuing contribution and leadership.”

University of Illinois Library Faculty and Staff Achievement Award, 2002
