From Pittsburgh and west: Rt. 22 E to Rt. 220/I-99N to 17th St. exit. Follow signs for Penn State Altoona.
From Harrisburg and Philadelphia: Pennsylvania Turnpike to Bedford (Exit 11) to Route 220/I-99 N to 17th St. exit. Follow signs for Penn State Altoona.
From Points Northeast: Route 80 W to Milesburg exit, take Route 220/I-99 S to 17th St. exit. Follow signs for Penn State Altoona.
From 17th Street: Follow signs to Penn State Altoona, the Robert E. Eiche Library is located next to the pond with its entrance facing the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts.
A pushbutton-activated wheelchair-accessible door is located at the main entrance facing the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts. An elevator inside the entrance provides access to the second floor of the library. Another accessible door in the atrium provides access to the first floor of the library. The staff at the Service Desk will assist anyone who needs help.
