SoilMap
-- SoilMap provides free and convenient online access to detailed soils information for all of Pennsylvania, as well as a wide variety of other environmental data layers. A suite of simple tools allows users to interact with the online mapping and retrieve a wealth of information about Pennsylvania's natural resources.

PASDA
-- Pennsylvania Spatial Data Access (PASDA) is Pennsylvania's official public access geospatial information clearinghouse. It provides some current aerial photos that you can load into GOOGLE Earth. Especially useful is the DCNR PAMAP Program file.

Penn Pilot
-- PennPilot is an on-line air photo resource for available stereo aerial photography of Pennsylvania between the 1930s-1970s.

elibrary
-- The elibrary contains current documents from each of the County Planning Offices/Departments on record in their office/department. Many documents are fairly old from municipalities; however there are more up-to-date documents from the county governments.

Community Assessments: a Guide to Data Resources
-- A guide created by the Social Science Library at Penn State to statistics published by PA government statistical agencies.

DataFerrett
-- DataFerrett is a web-based software developed by the U.S. Census Bureau that provides access across the Internet to demographic, economic, environmental, health, and other databases housed in different systems in different agencies and organizations in the federal government.

Community Economic Development (CED) HotReport
-- HotReport shows pertinent economic indicators in unified on-line reports from many data sources. Available Topics Include: industry wages, top industries, top occupation groups, labor force by age, education Levels, income, population pyramid, school enrollment, mortgage averages, occupancy status, ownership rates, housing costs, commute times, means of transportation, public schools, colleges and universities.

Pennsylvania State Data Center
The PaSDC provides a connection between the U.S. Census and the Pennsylvania government and local entities. There are reports available on this site.
