Submitting Articles to Architecture & Landscape Architecture Magazines

It is sometimes difficult to determine which journals use outside reviewers to help evaluate submitted articles. 

The Architecture and Landscape Architecture Library has begun a process of contacting editors of journals for architecture and landscape architecture, to determine whether or not feature articles are sent to external jurors for review before publication. 

Journal editors were asked who reviews submissions (external readers or the editorial staff) and if authors names are kept confidential (blind review.)

The results of our questionnaire are available in the following links:

This list is a work in progress.  Not all of the relevant journals have been contacted.  Some queries have not received usable responses.
