Please answer these questions as they apply to the typical practices you currently use for accepting the major articles for your journal.

The questionnaire is intended to apply to feature articles not book reviews, exhibition reviews, shorter notices, and similar contributions.

A. Unsolicited articles are not accepted.  All articles are invited or commissioned.

B. Articles are read and accepted solely by the editor and the internal editorial staff.

C. Articles are accepted by the editor after consultation with other professionals acting as "independent juries."  (By this we mean advisory board members or other scholars and professionals who read an article and comment to the editor on its merits.)

D. Names of authors are usually not disclosed to independent jurists.

E. The methods above sometimes vary (for special issues, guest editors, conference proceedings, etc.)
