Subject specialists in the library offer reference and research assistance, collection development, and course-related instruction on the use of the library's collections and resources. You can suggest an acquisition, schedule an instructional session for a class, or meet individually with the library's specialist in your discipline.
The Music and Media Center provides a variety of playback equipment for audiovisual materials in all formats, including compact disk, LP, cassette tape, video disk, laser disk, and CD-ROM. Small groups can screen videos in the Video Screening Room.
Instructors may place video and audio recordings and music scores on reserve for their courses at the Music and Media Center service desk.
The University Libraries' electronic course reserve service for audio employs streaming technology to provide Penn State students and instructors access to audio being studied in courses at Penn State University. The service is available to any instructor at any Penn State location.

Photocopy machines are available throughout the library. Inquire at a service desk for locations. Color and transparency copies can be made in the Music and Media Center, 211 Pattee Library. The library also offers a drop-off photocopy service for 20 cents per page. Forms are available at any service desk.
