Computers & Printing

13 computer workstations with Internet access and word processing software are available in the library. 1 computer workstation also has a flatbed scanner. Work can be saved on a USB flash drive or your Penn State Storage Space (PASS). A Penn State Access Account User ID and password is necessary to use these computers.
 
Laptops
8 laptop computers are available to students for a one week loan. Students must be currently enrolled at Penn State Beaver, present a valid PSU ID card, and have no outstanding library fines. Ask at the main desk for more details.
 
Collaborative Computer
For students working in groups, there is a collaborative work station in Room 9 in the library basement. This room is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please ask at the main desk for more details.
 
All computers are connected to a laser printer located near the library entrance under the Nittany Lion “Read” poster. If you need assistance with the printer or the computers, please ask at the main desk.
 
Wireless internet access from your laptop computer is available in the library. Please consult the Wireless Connectivity page for more information and configuration instructions.

101, 102/103, and 104 Laboratory Classroom Building (LCB)
Need a color printer? 104 LCB and 115 SUB (Student Activities Suite)

Photocopier

A cash operated photocopy machine is available in the library. The machine makes letter size (8 1/2" x 11") copies. The cost is 10 cents per copy. The machine accepts coins, $1 and $5 bills.
 

DVD Collection

The DVD Collection is funded by the Student Activity Fee. It is exclusively for the private use of Penn State Beaver students. Any DVD borrowed from the collection may only be viewed within the confines of a residence hall or private residence. Viewing a DVD from this collection in any publicly-accessible area, including a residence hall lounge or classroom (unless part of a regularly scheduled class session) is a violation of Copyright Law (Title 17, Chapter 1, sec. 110).

A maximum of two (2) DVDs may be borrowed 4 days. A valid Penn State Student ID is required to borrow from the collection. Select  DVD Title list to see the collection.
 
Recommendations for the collection are welcome! Give us the title at the desk or email it to the reference librarian at cly11@psu.edu.

Public Restrooms

Public restrooms are available on the Ground level of the library.
