A Floating Collection is a one that is not permanently located at a specific library, but that belongs to a group of Libraries. The Home location of a floating item reflects whichever Library within the floating collection has most recently discharged it.
The Libraries participating in the BookFloat program with their general stacks locations are listed below. The Item type assigned to new monographs should be bookfloat for the following:

Monographs within the BookFloat workflow could have a Library location that does not match the Home location. As long as both are locations within the BookFloat program, do not change either.
