Copy Cataloging Project, Phase I
~ 1,000 non-Roman language records in The CAT for items on the original Google Pick List were overwritten with OCLC records containing vernacular data. Most of these were Chinese and Japanese, with a small number of Korean, Arabic, and Hebrew titles; holdings were attached and/or corrected for several dozen records; 035s were manually added to several dozen records. Non-PSU Theses
There are 4000 reels of “B” film. According to the Title/Author list NML made, there are only 210 that are not cataloged. Not all of these are theses. There is a mixture of theses, older literature, and misc. No guide. Boxes have barcodes (not in acid-free boxes). Other 3800 are Microfilm B1008 call numbers. The missing 210 are mixed in the drawers with the others.
Update: Carol went over some NML specs with Cindy Stellabotte. She put the title, reel # list in the Cataloging drive under Missing B film. Direct to Annex cataloging will be done for this collection, but all will be sent at once when finished. Not going to re-box, boxes are barcoded, not going to LC Class. Gutenberg-e is a collection of open access digital monographs sponsored by the American Historical Association among others. About 40 titles are now available. ACM Digital Library
