Penn State University Libraries - Marking of UP Globes

NOTE: DO NOT apply any of the information to the actual globe. Apply only to the base.

UP Globes:

1. Change the Home location for books associated with the globes to REFDESK-MP.
2. Print the Call number label.
3. Apply the following labels to the underside of the base that the globe sits on:
   
• Clear ownership label
• Barcode label
• Call Number label
  
  NOTE: There may be times when the globe will need a target applied to it.

Books associated with the globes:

1. Change the Home location for books associated with the globes to REFDESK-MP.
2. Print the Call number label.
3. Apply the ownership label and security strip (target) to the booklets.
4. Print and apply the Call number label.
