The 2002 revision of Anglo-American Cataloguing Rules was published in the fall of 2002 and implemented by the Library of Congress on December 1, 2002. The revision contained complete revisions of Chapters 3 (Cartographic materials) and Chapter 12 (Continuing Resources), as well as a number of other significant changes. Of particular importance were the introduction of new rules covering “integrating resources” — e.g., loose-leaf publications and updating Web sites. The following presentations provide detailed information about the new rules.
This PowerPoint presentation (5231 KB) was created as a basic introduction to the revisions for staff doing cataloging in the Penn State University Libraries.
