The Authority Control Team manages authority control processes in order to maintain consistent headings in The CAT.
The Bibliographic Services Council considers matters of policy and management related to the intellectual access of library materials through the online catalog (The CAT) or other search and retrieval interfaces. The Council will develop and document policy that adheres to national standards while also addressing local needs.
The Bibload Working Group manages the purchase, testing, and loading of sets of bibliographic records.
The Cataloging Expert Team is one of a number of Expert Teams that focus specifically on a particular module of the Unicorn system.
The Government Documents Advisory Group was created to address the unique needs of processing and cataloging government information resources in tangible and electronic formats.
The Metadata Team works with Libraries faculty and staff in charge of digital projects to develop and implement metadata schemas for those projects, in keeping with local and national metadata standards. In addition, the Metadata Team plays a role in many information technology initiatives within the Libraries, ensuring that any metadata concerns within these initiatives are addressed.
The Unicode Steering Committee is charged with managing and coordinating the conversion of The CAT to Unicode. Members represent all of the Sirsi Expert Teams as well as selected language specialists.
