Accurate title page transcription is very important. When evaluating copy, pay particular attention to the title; if significant information has been omitted on copy, add it. Ellipses can be retained if the title is extremely long, but do not truncate before the sixth word.
If the spelling of words in the 245 does not reflect current usage, give a 246 with indicators 3 blank with the current usage.
