When appropriate, add 700 and 710 fields for illustrators, printers, publishers, translators, stereotypers, binders, binding designers, book designers, cover designers, bookjacket designers, former owners, illuminators, lithographers, engravers, papermakers, attributed names, typographers, etc.
Also, make added entries for all Penn State-related authors, contributors, and organizations that otherwise would not have been added based on current standard cataloging rules (such as an author of a chapter or article in a volume where the content was created by a number of contributors).
In most cases it will be obvious when to add these. This is a judgment call. When in doubt, add it. Examples might include:
Add an appropriate relator term in |e to the heading. A comma should precede |e unless there is a dash (from an open-ended date) preceding it. The term in subfield e should be in lowercase and should end with a period. Follow the standardized list created by RBMS: RBMS Controlled Vocabularies: Relator Terms.
Exceptions: Do not add relator terms for editors and compilers.
If you need a relator term and it isn't in the RBMS list, refer to a specialist.
