Macro Express Macros

System Requirements: Macro Express version 3.7d or higher, SirsiDynix Symphony WorkFlows Staff Client version 3.2.1.2.14 or higher. These macros were not tested in older versions of Macro Express or the Unicorn WorkFlows Java Client. Some of these macros may work in the older versions of SirsiDynix's WorkFlows Client, however they were not designed for them.

OCLC Macro Language (OML) Macros

System Requirements: OCLC Connexion Client 2.0 or higher.

This macro book contains one macro that is used in conjunction with a Macro Express macro. It is used by the Cataloging and Metadata Services Special Collections Cataloging Team. The code has been written for a particular local solution and will require editing for outside use. For more on this macro and how it is installed, see: OCLC 099 Generator.

AutoIt Scripts

System Requirements: SirsiDynix Symphony WorkFlows Staff Client version 3.2.1.2.14 or higher for all scripts (ThesisTitle and Create653 will work in GL3.1.3.156.7 or higher); CnxToSym should be used with OCLC Connexion Client 2.0 or higher (it hasn't been tested with earlier versions); ThesisTitle should be used with Adobe Acrobat Reader 8 or higher (it hasn't been tested with earlier versions). Create653 can be used with Mozilla Firefox 3.x and Internet Explorer 7.x (newer and earlier versions have not been tested).

PSU Catalogers: Please copy the AutoIt scripts listed below in their .exe form from the W drive in the AutoIt Scripts folder.

Other users: Only the source code for these scripts are provided. You may use AutoIt to compile them into .exe files. Follow the links giving details about the scripts to see how we use these at Penn State.
