Downloading Volumes of the Transactions of the Northeast Section of the Wildlife Society
Articles from the Transactions cannot yet be downloaded individually. However, downloads of whole volumes are possible. The link for downloading a volume is found in the document description. Instructions follow below on how to get to this link and download the PDF of a Transactions volume.
First, click on the link that reads, in red font, "Instructions for downloading TNSWS volumes."
Recommended: Keep a window or tab open for these instructions and one open for the TNSWS collection.
If you know the volume in which the article appears, then select the range of years during which the volume was published. (If you don't know the volume year, you may opt to input a keyword to search for the article - and, by extension, the volume.)
After selecting the year range, click on the "go" button.
Next, you'll get to a screen showing a list of volumes as your results. The screen shot at right shows a cluster of these, including the volume for 1968 (outlined in blue).
Click on the image for the 1968 volume.
The next screen should show an image of the cover of the 1968 volume, with a list of all its pages at left.
To get to the link for downloading, select "document description" in the drop-down menu at the top of the page list and select "go."
The next screen shows information about the 1968 volume regarding title, publisher, place of publication, etc. The last field, "download," displays a link to the PDF file for the volume.
Click on the link for the PDF file, and the next screen that appears should show the loaded PDF file (these are large files, so it may take a minute or two for loading to complete).
