Focus on Assessment

The Library Assessment and Metrics Council welcomes you to "Focus on Assessment," our new
semimonthly column which will provide factual information about assessment tools and
resources within the University Libraries, within Penn State, and from organizations external to
Penn State. We will also highlight faculty and staff who are actively using assessment in the
Libraries and making changes based on their findings. In addition, if you send us your
assessment-related questions, you may find the answer published here! We look forward to
assisting you in your assessment activities.

The Library Assessment and Metrics Council has revised and expanded its website
(https://intranet.libraries.psu.edu/home/groups/assesscouncil.html) to include many assessmentrelated
links. On the left-hand menu of our site, you will find links to University Libraries data
and statistics, projects and reports, assessment-related resources, and Interview articles. Although
these pages are still under construction, as we are adding information weekly, you will find a
large array of links to assessment throughout the University Libraries, as well as assessment
resources, both internal and external. If you are aware of other links that we should include,
please e-mail them to ul-assessment-council@lists.psu.edu.
