Research and Course guides use the same template, but vary in a few ways. Since Course Guides have more requirements to work effectively, this documentation will begin by explaining how to create a Research Guide.
Log into the CMS Author environment and select Websites. Navigate to the Research Guides folder shown on the right. There are no folders corresponding to campuses or libraries, since Research Guides are intended for all Penn State Libraries.
You can create a new guide in one of the current subject folders. Note that there is no longer a "Materials by type" folder, instead if a Research Guide does not go in a particular subject it should go in the main folder.
