The primary purpose of the ECSC will be to develop/review strategies and outline primary tactics for the ongoing implementation of the e-Content Stewardship Program. ECSC will ensure the effective integration of these activities with all relevant aspects of the Libraries. This includes responsibilities for development of appropriate policies and practices for the effective creation, management, delivery and preservation of digitized and born-digital content that is managed by the PSUL and DLT.  These activities may be delegated or coordinated with other teams and committees as needed.

First Year Activities

  1. Articulate and communicate the program
  2. Determine project priorities and resource alignment for FY10/11
  3. Define and develop a content stewardship portfolio/pipeline
  4. Development of an assessment program
  5. Review role of DCRT
  6. Consider how and where we align with content management in ITS

Logistics:

  • Monthly for 90 minutes
  • Martha coordinates schedules and agendas
  • Meeting chairs rotate among Lisa, Mike, Mairead
  • Minutes rotate among all other members
