  • Library Catalogs & Facilities Report: A Report by the Center for Library Initiatives (.pdf) (staff only)

"This report summarizes information gathered through the Google Readiness Survey conducted in the Fall 2007. The purpose of this survey was to gather information about the current state of metadata, facilities, and collections of distinction within eleven CIC libraries (Michigan and Wisconsin were excluded as preexisting Google partners). The results of this survey will help the CIC make plans for the Google Book project and will serve as informational among the partner libraries. Information about 'collections of distinction,' also gathered in the Readiness Survey, will be presented in a forthcoming report."
